Medical experts have confirmed that due to her extremely fragile condition, she requires continuous neonatal intensive care (NICU support) to stabilize her health and prevent life-threatening complications. The baby is under the supervision of Dr. Vaidehi Dande, and her condition demands at least 15 more days of intensive medical care and monitoring.
Family Details
The child belongs to a financially vulnerable family. Her father, Mr. Gaurav Patil, works as a daily wage laborer (sweeper) and is the sole earning member of the family. Despite his continuous efforts, his income is barely sufficient to meet the family’s basic daily needs.
Her mother, Mrs. Kajal Patil, is a homemaker. The family also has a farming background but lacks any stable income or savings due to ongoing financial struggles.
Due to this unexpected medical emergency, the family of three is under severe financial and emotional stress and has no financial backup to manage the high cost of treatment.
Medical Recommendation & Estimated Cost
Doctors at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital have advised continued NICU care, specialized neonatal treatment, and constant monitoring due to the baby’s critical and delicate condition. Immediate and sustained medical support is essential for her survival and recovery.
As per the hospital’s medical estimate, the total cost of treatment is approximately ₹2,50,000, which includes NICU hospitalization charges, medicines, injections, monitoring, and essential neonatal care.

We are happy to share an update regarding Baby of Mrs. Kajal Patil. The baby’s current weight is 1.900 kgs and the baby is now on room air and recovering well under medical supervision. Doctors have informed that the baby may get discharged within the next 2–3 days if the recovery continues steadily.
However, the family is still facing financial difficulties in managing the NICU hospitalization and medical expenses. Currently, there is a treatment shortfall of Rs. 38,900/-.
