URGENT APPEAL | SUPPORT BABY JANAVI’S NICU TREATMENT

Dear Supporter,

We are reaching out with an urgent request to support Baby Janavi Salve, a critically ill newborn currently undergoing intensive treatment in the NICU at MotherNest Hospital, Dombivli.

Baby Janavi was born extremely premature at just 24 weeks + 5 days, with an extremely low birth weight of only 480 grams. She is fighting multiple serious medical complications, including Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, anaemia of prematurity, early-onset sepsis and right upper lobe collapse.

She has been receiving intensive NICU care since 16 August 2026 and may require another 90–100 days of hospitalisation for treatment and recovery.

FAMILY SITUATION

The estimated cost of Baby Janavi’s ongoing treatment, medicines, consumables and investigations is approximately ₹24–25 lakh.

Her family has already paid around ₹5.50 lakh using their entire savings. Janavi’s father previously earned through his own masala-product sales, but since this medical emergency, he has been unable to continue working. Her mother is a homemaker with no independent source of income.

With their savings nearly exhausted and treatment still continuing, the family is struggling to arrange the remaining medical expenses.
