Medical Case Overview
Medical Case Overview
The premature twin babies of Mrs. Seema Mallah were born at just 26+4 weeks of gestation on 22nd April 2026 and are currently admitted to the Neonatal ICU at Surya Hospitals, Santacruz, under the care of Dr. Richa Choubey. Due to their critical premature condition, both babies require continuous NICU monitoring, respiratory support, medications, nutritional management, laboratory investigations, and specialized neonatal care. Doctors have advised prolonged intensive treatment and constant monitoring to improve the babies’ chances of survival and recovery during this critical stage.
Family Details
Mr. Akhilesh Mallah, the father of the babies, is the sole earning member of the family and works as a fruit seller to support his family of four. Mrs. Seema Mallah is a homemaker. The unexpected premature delivery of twin babies has placed the family under severe emotional and financial stress. Despite their continuous efforts, the family is unable to bear the enormous expenses of prolonged NICU treatment and hospitalization required for both newborn babies.
Medical Recommendation & Estimated Cost
Doctors at Surya Hospitals have strongly recommended continued NICU care, respiratory support, medications, investigations, and specialized neonatal treatment due to the babies’ fragile medical condition. Immediate and sustained medical intervention is essential for their survival and recovery.
As per the hospital’s estimate, the total treatment cost is approximately ₹33,25,000/-:
* ₹15,75,000/- for Twin 1 (Female Baby)
* ₹17,50,000/- for Twin 2 (Male Baby)
The babies’ father has already exhausted his limited financial resources toward the ongoing treatment. However, due to the substantial medical expenses involved, he is now unable to continue funding the required care alone. Your generous support can help save these innocent newborn babies and give them a fighting chance at life.
