How Your Support Can Change Lives

Your contribution can directly help provide food, shelter, and educational support to visually impaired girls who depend entirely on this Foundation. Donations help purchase groceries, maintain the hostel, and ensure continuous care. Even a small contribution helps restore stability and dignity in their lives. Together, we can protect these girls from homelessness and give them the opportunity to become independent. Your support today builds a safer, brighter future for visually challenged girls who refuse to give up on their dreams.

A Home of Hope for Visually Impaired Girls

Blind Progressive Welfare Foundation is providing shelter, food, and education to 26 visually impaired girls who come from extremely poor backgrounds. Many of these girls have no family support and were at risk of homelessness.

Supporting Education Beyond Disability

Despite visual impairment, these girls are determined to study and build independent lives. The Foundation supports their education by providing mentoring, academic guidance, and skill development.

Shelter, Nutrition, and Basic Care

The girls’ hostel in Dombivli, Thane (Mumbai) provides free accommodation, daily meals, and basic medical support. Nutritious food and a stable living space are essential for their physical and mental well-being.

Financial Crisis and Shortage of Essentials

Due to reduced donations and rising expenses, the shelter is currently facing a serious shortage of groceries and daily essentials. Managing food supplies for all residents has become increasingly difficult.

“For visually impaired girls, support is not just about shelter it is about dignity, education, and the right to live independently.”
