India has an estimated 4.95 million blind people, including nearly 2.4 lakh visually impaired children, many of whom are girls denied equal access to education. In November, we raised â¹70,000 and sponsored 35 visually impaired girls at Smt Kamla Mehta Blind School for Girls, Dadar. Girls participate in activities like tug of war, chess, and practice on self-learning Braille devices, building independence and self-belief. Under Dattu Agarwal, around 165 girls study at the school, but 120 girls are still awaiting sponsorship, showing the urgent need for continued support.
Letâs join the cause and become the vision to the girls who cannot see the world. By sponsoring a blind girl, you support her education and give her the strength to learn with dignity, care, and hope for a brighter, independent future.
Support a blind girlâs education for 15 days and help her continue learning with dignity, care, and hope for a brighter, independent future. Your contribution becomes a step towards her confidence and self-reliance.
Support a blind girlâs education for 1 full month, ensuring she continues learning with dignity, care, and hope for a brighter, independent future. This helps her stay consistent in studies and move closer to a secure future.
Sponsor one month of education and hostel facilities for a blind girl, ensuring safe living, learning support, and a real chance at an independent future. This support creates stability so she can focus on learning and growth.
“Every year, thousands of visually impaired girls in India are unable to continue their education simply because they lack proper support.”
We will share recent updates and progress of this campaign here. Stay tuned for the latest developments and success stories.
