Sangopita – A Shelter for care is an organization providing a shelter full of care and welfare for people with mental or physical disabilities who are often taken as liability by their families. This feeling of neglect towards them also leads them to having complex and further deteriorates their health conditions.
Besides, by having special care givers for the severely disabled who need constant care, Sangopita relieve their parents of their daily anxiety. Thus, in collab we help families continue with their regular life with minimum disruption caused by the birth of a severely disabled child and allow them to lead a normal life.
The genesis of Sangopita lies in the simple question, “what after the demise of the parents?” Hence Sangopita, was set up with an aim to provide lifelong services to all those who need special care due to their mental and physical disabilities.
Our goal is to support an additional 60 disabled individuals with essential dry ration kits In this holy month of Ramzan. Each kit, costing Rs 820, includes vital food items such as rice, oil, dal, sugar, spices, tea, powder, atta, salt, onions, potatoes, and sweets. The Provided quantity can feed four people for a week.
