As Amit Salve paces up and down the hospital corridor, there’s only one thing on his mind – how will he face his wife? How does he tell her the most heartbreaking news she will ever hear?
“Deepali has already been through so much, I don’t know how I’m going to tell her something this devastating. When our twins were taken to the NICU, she broke down. She has been scared and worried ever since. How do I tell her that only one of our twins survived?” Amit says while breaking down.
These First-Time Parents Have Only Experienced Pain & Suffering In The Last Two Weeks
When Amit and Deepali got married, their dream was to one day have children to complete their family. This year, When Deepali found out she was pregnant, it felt like all their wishes were finally coming true. Happy and hopeful, this couple eagerly looked forward to the day their twins would be born.
“We always wanted one boy and one girl. We prayed for it throughout her pregnancy and kept checking how many more weeks were left for our twins to come into this world. But one day during her early month, Deepali had to be rushed to the hospital because of pain in her stomach. That’s when the doctor told us that our babies will be born early.”
Even then the couple did not lose hope. However, when the twins were born – one boy and one girl just like they dreamed – they were underweight and weak. They were just 650 grams at birth and both had to be rushed to the NICU even before the parents could hold them. But this was not the worst of it.
“When they were 3 days old, we found out they are even having respiratory distress problem. Deepali is still recovering physically and mentally, and I’m mustering the courage to tell her what happened to our baby. Now our twins are fighting to survive in the NICU, and while we deal with the grief of losing one child, we have to do our best for our twins.”
Help This Couple Save Their Newborn Baby Girl
It has been 15 days since the birth of their twins, and Amit has already spent over 10 lakhs on the NICU treatment so far. An executive in hospital, he had no option but to go into debt to save his babies.
“Our babies are on oxygen support, and while their weight is slowly improving, they still has a long way to go. I don’t have the means to continue their treatment any longer. We’ve already exhausted with all savings. Please help me.”

But their oxygen level is low, so they will have to be kept on oxygen support for at least 7 to 10 days.

The current weight of the new born baby girl is 1.4 kg and the current weight of the baby boy is 1.2 kg.
Due to low birth weight these new born babies will require at least 30 days more of hospital stay.

Dear Supporters,
Thank you all for your immense love and support! Hope you all are doing well.
Wanted to share a quick update on my new-born twins, Twin Babies Of Deepali Salve. They still continue to be in the hospital and both are struggling for life. Currently their weight is stable to 900 grams. Doctors have suggested that both twins will require more 2 months of hospital stay until their weight shoots up to 2 kgs. I will keep you all posted about their health condition here, request you to keep the new born twins in your prayers.
