Cause : Hypoglycemia (Blood Sugar level is lower than the standard range) and requires minimum 20 days of NICU stay.

Story : My name is Varsha Dabholkar and I am raising funds for my 5 days old newborn child, Suffering from Hypoglycemia disease and is undergoing treatment since her birth in Ace Children’s Hospital, Dombivli.

Hypoglycemia is a condition in which your blood sugar (glucose) level is lower than the standard range. Glucose is your body’s main energy source. Right Now my newborn child is in NICU and under the observation of Doctors.

Very often, hypoglycemia symptoms occur when blood glucose levels fall below 70 mg/dL.

Expected Treatment cost including hospital charges, laboratory, medicines will be Rs. 3,50,000/- (Approx)

Presently, baby is treated with Octreotide injection thrice a day (25mcg/dose). Dexolac Hi-Kal milk Powder mixed in hot water is given for every 3 hourly. Glucose levels are checked regularly to record baby’s health conditions.
