I am Kirti Gaikar. I am raising funds for this new born daughter who is suffering from Grunting/Low Birth Weight/Respiratory Distress Syndrome.

My daughter is getting treatment in Ace Childrens Hospital, Dombivli and presently on ventilator support in NICU. She will be remain in NICU at least 30 to 35 days more. She is fighting for her life.

The total expected cost for the treatment including hospital charges, laboratory, medicines will be (approx) Rs. 6,00,000/-

My husband Mr. Nikesh Gaikar is working in a general store and his monthly income is approx Rs. 7000 and he is unable to pay such huge amount.

Newborn respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) happens when a baby’s lungs are not fully developed and cannot provide enough oxygen, causing breathing difficulties. It usually affects premature babies. It’s also known as infant respiratory distress syndrome, hyaline membrane disease or surfactant deficiency lung disease.
