Indian summers are known for their severe heat and with the temperature soaring daily, it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to survive. This summer season is worse in case of the patients and hospital visitors who travel along way for their medical treatment, at times they don’t even have access to resources as they are visitors coming from long distant places to hospitals. Something as a basic as water shouldn’t be a cause of worry for these countless hospital visitors but unfortunately, it is. This is especially affecting the patients who come from rural areas. There have been instances of children and adults losing their lives on the way out of exhaustion, dehydration, heat stroke, etc.
At Nanhi Pari Foundation this summer we are planning to distribute ORS Cans to make the hospital visitors rehydrate from the scorching heat of the sun. Every single ORS Can is precious to them as the patients entire day revolves around this humongous task and in the process, their physical health gets adversely affected.
Nanhi Pari Foundation will be covering visitors outside the K.E.M. Hospital, Wadia Hospital and TATA Hospital at Parel, Mumbai. We have been doing this for the past few years.
We would like to reach as many people as we can. Any help will be useful. Together we can help hundreds of patients and hospital visitors to quench their thirst and rehydrate them this summer. Please join hands with Nanhi Pari Foundation and help them fight a dreadful summer this year.
