Age : 10 Days Old Infant Twins
Cause : Extreme Preterm and very low birth weight
I am Pratiksha Apte. I have waited 10 years to hold my child in my arms. When I found out that I had conceived not one but two babies, I felt like the luckiest mother in the world. My husband was the happiest. He looked after my health in the best possible way. Suddenly, during my 7th month of pregnancy, I started feeling anxious. My stomach started hurting too. It was unbearable.
Without wasting any time, my husband rushed me to Ace Childrens Hospital, Dombivli. The doctor examined my condition and realized that I was in premature labour. They had no other option but to deliver my babies by c-section.
My husband and I were scared.
Finally, my twin babies a boy and a girl were out in the world. I saw them, and before I could lean forward to hold them, the doctor rushed my babies to the NICU. They were extremely premature, with an extremely low birth weight.
A few seconds into this world and my kids were already in danger. Their lives were threatened. My twins are still fighting for their lives. I haven’t even had the chance to hold them in my arms yet.
I am desperate to give them my motherly love, but I don’t know if my fate will even let me hold them or not. I cannot explain my pain in words, but it breaks my heart to see them covered in tubes and injections.
They are so little and fragile. I can lose them at any moment unless you help me in time.
The doctor said that my premature twins need urgent 30 days of NICU stay to be able to breathe on their own. The cost estimated for their treatment is Rs. 10,00,000.
We belong to a middle-class family. We have exhausted our savings to keep our twin babies alive so far. Now, we have no money to save their lives.
Therefore, I have come to you with the hope that you will help me. Your help can save my babies. I was once blessed with children. Be my one last miracle and save my newborn twin’s life! Please help me save my kids.

Update 23/08/2023
Dear Supporters:
It’s been two weeks since Pratiksha and Sachin’s twins were born and yet the parents haven’t been able to hold them in their arms. The babies, one boy, and one girl are struggling for their lives in the NICU.
A sudden emergency in Pratiksha’s pregnancy forced her husband to rush her to the nearest hospital. Her blood pressure was very high and both the mother and the babies’ lives were at risk.
“But finally, when my angels were born, I heaved a sigh of relief. I thought this was going to be the end of the nightmare. But I was so wrong! While my wife is at home, crying for her babies, I am here at the hospital every day waiting for some good news…”
“My wife asking me when she will be able to hold her babies in her arms and I try my best to console her. What else can I even do? The doctors are saying that the babies are underweight and are suffering from infections, they need intensive care, and yet all that I had borrowed from relatives and friends is soon to be over.” – Sachin Apte, father.
We are having a shortage of huge amount from the total hospital bill amount.
so we request you to please come forward and support the maximum possible from your end.
Each contribution is important!
Thanks and Regards
